WGU: C|EH & Sec+ Do not count for "Fundamentals of Information Security"???
Tekn0logy
Had transfer eval done for BS Comp Sci and I'm irritated all to hell now.
My Sec+ cert applied as Network and Security Foundations
Network+ nothing
C|EH nothing
A.A.S. in MIS basically nothing
Oh well, lets see what SNHU, UMUC and TESU say...

So you'll pay way more at another school so you don't have to take a fundamentals class that you are talking like you could probably pass in a few days? Courses have equivalencies, you already said the Sec+ counted for something. CEH shouldn't count for anything if it's not related to the actual class.

yeah, I am losing 28hrs that won't transfer into a Bachelor degree. I actually thought I had like 30hrs left for my B.S. but they want to tack some fundamental IT courses on me too about 60hrs total. I am just gonna pass on WGU. I am getting too old to pursue it. I will continue to get certs to keep my mind fresh, but that's about it.

you can challenge the assessment and you can usually get them to back down. a lot will depend on how old your certs are.
