Healthcare IT Certifications

Hey, just needed some advice from current healthcare IT professionals. What certifications are recommended for a specialization in healthcare IT.

    The one that comes to my mind is the HCISPP. It is offered by ISC2. I think CompTIA has a heathcare certification as well, or at least they used to. I'm not sure if they still do, but check out the HCISPP. I know there was a thread on that cert a while back. If you do a quick search you should be able to find it.

    1. Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE)

    2. Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS)

    3. Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM)

    4. Certified Medical Manager (CMM)

    5. American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM)
