TechGromit Member Posts: 2,156 ■■■■■■■■■□I'd pick the one that has the more attractive women working there, 15 percent of people met there significant other at work, 2nd most common way to find a mate. If you going to play in the pool, might as well be the one with sexier people.
P.S. Getting involved with someone at work is a really bad idea, don't take my advise, including this one.Still searching for the corner in a round room. -

No clue. Why I asked.
“Same companies?” You have an opportunity at the one, not all four correct?
Just strikes me as odd
In any event. Good luck. -

Job #2 (Soc manager) Rejection, their was that I meet all their requirement and 'it was such a close call', but they picked the other candidate (only two of us made it to the final round) due to better cultural fit.
I thanked and told them that I enjoyed the interview process lol
I'm actually happy about it. I really didn't want it, and if I don't get job #1 then I'm happy to stay where I'm at

UnixGuy Mod Posts: 4,570 ModWish I have an answer....they were meant to come back to me 2-3 weeks ago....they call every now and then and ask for another detail they need to "prepare" my contract! So - according to them - I should hear very soon....now this could be today or in two weeks time...I'm hoping this week....

Not much at all, it's not a pay increase. Big 4 are known for lower salaries (unless u are a director and above). They paid me on the higher end of the manager range which is good for me. I also negotiated reduced hours, I do have side businesses and other stuff that I do so salary increase wasn't my motivation....not in the short term anyway
