Taking the CCNA Wireless exam with an expired CCNA certification

Quick question can I take the CCNA wireless exam with an expired CCNA certification or do I need to recertify first? My certification expired in 2011.

you can take the exam, but you won't be awarded the certification until you pass either CCENT or CCNA R&S

Might as well do CCENT or CCNA first

Might as well do CCENT or CCNA first. So after I'm CCNA recertified I can take the 200-355 WIFUND, got it thanks!
