Whew, im feeling so releived!
I erased the ios on my 1600 by mistake and with my tftp service not available I had to do the next best thing...use my initiative.
I found something about Xmodem on cisco's site, followed the instructions. It was invaluable experience for my networking future.
Incase anyone wants to check it out:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/130/xmodem_generic.html
Just sharing the knowledge!!
Cheers

If everyone did the xmodem upload just once, there would never be another accidental erasure again....
.... we'll just skip my memories of Xmodem and Zmodem of source code to my work UNIX systems over (gasp!) 2400 baud modems....:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set!
