I'm going for this cert in order to give myself some Linux related chest hair. I'm going to use this thread to keep myself accountable. I've started the first two sections of Sander van Vugt video series on Safari Books.
I plan on testing at the end of April. I'll try to update this a couple of times per week till I'm done.

Ertaz Member Posts: 934 ■■■■■□□□□□Have completed chapters 6, 7, and 8. My knowledge is so dated and incomplete. I was fortunate to take a look at this. This course is valuable even if you don't plan on testing.

Ertaz Member Posts: 934 ■■■■■□□□□□Long time, no update. Chapter 14 file system management, good stuff here. I'm feeling a little better about the content. I plan on finishing the rest over the next two weeks. So grueling...

I found out that work has changed our training budget for the year, but they won't release the numbers until early May. I'm thinking that I'll be restricted to one cert in this "cut-back" year and I don't know if I want this to be it. -
Infosec_Sam Admin Posts: 527 AdminHmm, I agree that the RHCSA might not be my number one pick if I only had one cert to pick this year. Which others were you considering?

Ertaz Member Posts: 934 ■■■■■□□□□□With the addition of RHEL 8, I will wait and take that exam. I'm bowing out. Off to a cloud cert to appease my corporate overlords.
