Happy Monday,
I came across a voucher this past week for CySa+. Was a fun test. The last certification I took was CISSP in August of 2018 and that was lots of management studies.
I work in the IT/Cyber Sec industry and I am VERY hands on so I decided to not study & just wanted to verify my current knowledge. I barely passed the exam but a pass is a pass.
Here is a little certification background.
March 2015 - Security +
September 2015 - CCNA R/S
December 2015 - CEH/CHFI
March 2017 - CASP
July 2017 - ITIL Foundation
May 2018 - GCIA
August 2018 - CISSP
April 2019 - CySa+
I now work in a cloud environment so will probably go for the AWS SysOps certification next.
Cheers,
Josh

Infosec_Sam Admin Posts: 527 AdminA pass is certainly a pass - congratulations! If you liked the CompTIA format, you might want to check out the Cloud+ as well if you're looking to certify your cloud knowledge. From what I've seen, the Cloud+ and the CCSP are the two big vendor-neutral cloud certs out there. That being said, you can never go wrong with an AWS cert at an AWS company.
