I dont know where to put this topic...but i just want to know about this thihng "Nortel Passport".if anybody knows do tell me.

    I was applying for a job.They have refer it in the requirements along with CCNA.

    Too broad of a question,its like saying tell me about the cisco catalyst, i have a little experience with the passport atm switches, not very user friendly if you ask me.
    Networking, sometimes i love it, mostly i hate it.Its all about the $$$$

    hello,

    i really dont know if there is a newer version - but inside the 8600 chassis you can plug bunch of modules including the switching & routing & security bla bla bla... : )
    but from the nortel users side - they say that the box a lot smarter than other in terms of CLI. I dont know : )
