Which VCP shoud I sit for?
thecubicledweller
I've completed my VMware v.6 ICM course with Stanly and passed the vSphere 6 Foundations Exam in Feb 2019. I've learned that VCP 6 & 6.5 are being retired on August 30, 2019. What are my options at this point? I won't be able to sit for VCP 6 before the end of this month.
Should I go back to Stanly and do the v6.7 ICM and then take the VCP 6.7? Will I have to do the Foundations again?
Please help!

There is no “VCP 6.7”, it’s VCP-DCV 2019
https://www.vmware.com/education-services/certification/vcp-dcv-2019.html
If you look at the path on that page, you’ll see that only vSphere 6.7 training is mentioned, but the vSphere 6 Foundations exam is on there.
Based on that, I THINK you would need to take a 6.7 class (step 2) and pass the 6.7 exam (step 4)

Thanks, Scott
Stanly doesn't offer the 6.7 class yet.
