hmm i passed the test today... score was a little lower then i was hoping for. The test really went in a direction of networking.... what the heck is that crap? anyways time to look forward to the software part. any advice?

    Congratulations on the pass!

    My experience with OS was being sure that you got some experience, if possible, with each Microsoft operating system--install each one and configure each one, etc. Know about multibooting options and the different versions of Windows and which version will upgrade what other version.

    Those aren't the only things, but it's been 3 years since I took the OS exam and I can't be very specific. Be sure and check out the CompTIA objectives from here, http://www.comptia.org/certification/a/objectives.aspx

    what score did you pass with then? i am also studying for my hardware exam and i was just wondering how you found the actual exam? was it easier or harder than expected?
