Passed CISM finally!

I finally stop procrastinating and took the CISM after one month of studying. It says I'll receive my official results via email in 10 business days. Has anyone received their results faster than 10 days?

I'm also planning taking the CISA before 2019 ends. Does having both CISM and CISA look good on your resume for future employers?

Results time may vary as it probably depends on how many people took the exam around the same time as you. I received my CISM results exactly 10 day working days but the CISA took 6 working days. The answer to your second question is that it depends. The CISA would be beneficial if the future employer is looking for an Auditor and you have some experience on the resume while the CISM is more for a management role.

The resources I used:
- CISM Certified Information Security Manager All-in-One Exam Guide by Peter H. Gregory
This was a great study book. I would advise at least reading it twice.

- ISACA Q&A database.
Great resource to test my knowledge and made sure I scored at least 75%.

-CISM Review Manual, 15th Edition
Very dry and hard to read. I see why my friend just gave it to me.

I read page 1 of the CISM Review Manual and never opened the book again. I also passed it on to a co-worker for free.
That book was impossible to read.
