Incidentally, if you still have a machine with W7 or older, you can still get the free upgrade to W10:
I upgraded an old W7 box with no problem. Turns out I got Pro! This is legal and direct from Microsoft.

$40 for a new license...nice. I've used my Windows 7 license keys but didn't know you get Pro out of the deal. Also nice.

You will need to download Windows 10 from the Microsoft website to use this, if that is what you meant by your question, @Alisona.
