Cisco CCNA Exam #640-607 Certification Guide

I just wanted comment on the fact that i think that the post/pre chapter questions are like kinda hard and lenghty..i mean are those questions really that important..like should one invest alot of time in them..i also find the book having alot of detail..more than u need...how sufficient is that compared to lamle's book which is to the point...
Those that used that book or are using the book as a prep...wat are ur suggestion on the questions and the text explained in Odom's book
