Has Anyone Ever Heard of Covered 6 Academy?
I just received a bizarre email from Covered 6 Academy and was wondering if anyone has ever heard of them? They appear to be a certification training company out of California.

Their 3 tracks are focused on A+, Network+, and Security+ which are not exactly hard certifications that require a formal training program. I'm not sure what the prices are but they must be relatively steep based on the fact that military veterans can use their MGIB on it.
On the plus side, they are ISO 17024 accredited as a trainer and do seem to want to help veterans get their foot in the door with IT.

ISO/IEC 17024 is a standardization for "human" certifications and not for certification trainers. The Covered 6 Academy website displays the CompTIA logo followed by "Accredited by ANSI to show compliance with the ISO 17024 Standard," which is true, but this doesn't attest to the quality or credibility of Covered 6 Academy as a training provider. It may be that the people who put together the content of that Website don't understand the information they are presenting.
Upon reading this, I'm promoting my regard for them from "amateurish" to "scam."
