PenTest+ renewal
Anyone renew this yet? Considering using Virtual Hacking Labs cert of completion to count as half the points. Definitely took way more than 30 hours to get that, but definitely not on any pre-approved courses/training lists. Since PenTest+ is barely three years old, might be a bit of a Guinea Pig renewal attempt. I think as long as I pay them their fee and the evidence docs are at least well labelled and reasonably presented I'll be okay. There's some Cybrary courses that would renew it too as a plan B.

JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,099 AdminIt should be the same as renewing any CompTIA cert. CompTIA seems to prefer that its cert holders renew their certs by passing CompTIA cert exams.

Generally I try to use training that provides some documentation of the number of hours spent in the training, webinar, etc. HOWEVER, I've used online training from Coursera - similar to Cybrary - where the training syllabus would list the "estimated" hours to get through various sections of the course, so in my CEU posting I just posted links to the syllabus (or you could screenshot the information and put it in a doc to post). Then, I totalled those hours totals, and also posted the certificate of completion. I just got my recerts up through CYSA+ doing such (working on Pentest+ right now). So, I think you'd be OK.
