Saw an opening a few weeks ago for an Enterprise Network Analyst position and went for it. After 5 years of working for my current employer, working on certs, making connections, and rising up the ranks I finally made it. Feels great to finally do what I've aimed for since my transition back into IT. My ultimate goal is network engineering which I'll be working towards steadily now that I'm getting hands on exposure and will pair it with one or two CCNP certs. 2021 is start off much better than last year. Can't wait to see what the future holds.
Degree: WGU B.S. Network Operations and Security [COMPLETE]
Current Certs: A+ | N+ | S+ | Cloud Essentials+ | Project+ | MTA: OSF | CIW: SDA | ITIL: F | CCNA | JNCIA-Junos | FCA | FCF | LPI Linux Essentials
Currently Working On: JNCIA-MistAI

2024 Goals: JNCIA-MistAI [ ], Linux+ [ ]
Future Certs: CCNP Enterprise

Congrats .), I'm in a similar position... Dropped management job with better salary for datacenter consultant role. Hopefully doing with Cisco portfolio, aiming on the CCNP .) ( I would like to do CCNA before my new job starts). Good luck!
