Be sure you know your stuff....VLANS, VTP, STP, Subnetting, etc..

Thanks to this forum and all you guys for the different tips n' tricks

I feel like Cisco threw the book at me, I had 2 simlets, 1 router sim,
and 3 drag n' drops icon_redface.gif I finished with 24 seconds on the clock...

One other tip..Keep track of the time and pace yourself!!

See Ya....gotta finish my glass of wine, then I'm off to the CCNP forum..

Pardon me in my haste I forgot to list the Study items I used.

Cisco Press Intro / ICND - Wendell Odom - READ the entire book!!
Sybex CCNA study guide 5th ed. - Todd Lammle - READ the entire book!!
    Home Lab -
    2 - 2501 routers
    1 - 2610 router
    1 -3524 switch
    2 - 2924 switches

Do you think my home lab is sufficient for CCNP studies??

What did all of the above run you? It looks like it's at the very minimum a solid start for a CCNP lab.

    Congratulations! icon_thumright.gif

You might want to add a 252x switch -- makes a nice frame-relay switch for BCRAN and gives you an extra router for BSCI.
:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set!

    icon_cheers.gif CONGRATS ! ! ! icon_cheers.gif

I am jealous. I took my first attempt today and missed it by 13 pts (got a 837)!

Spent waaay to long on an early sim and had to rush the second half of the exam.

Ah well, I'll get it next time.

Actually I was lucky enough to grab all that equipment from a corporate liquidation sale... icon_lol.gif

Thanks I'm sure you will get it...I fell into the same boat checking and re-checking my sim questions instead of moving on...almost lost to the clock....Good Luck on your next try

Wow, you are lucky. One more question. How much info was covered in Odom that wasn't covered in Lammle? I am almost the entire way through Lammle, and am seriously considering picking up Odom.

Also, did you use any other practice questions, or just the ones included in the 2 books? Thanks.
