Certification tips

Hi
I am an insurance professional specialized in Cyber insurance. I am working on my Security+ certification and I wanted to ask for some tips to help me to succeed. I am not a technical person and I don't have any technical knowledge. Is this a good certification to start on the cybersecurity consultant path?
