I am very tempted to go for my first Def Con, I will probably decide much closer to the date. Waiting to know for the Covid restriction on trip, Canadian border are a PITA with Covid.

The reason I am asking now is because this is the time of year to make hotel reservations for DEF CON/Black Hat/BSidesLV for next year. If you wait and book close to the event the prices will be much higher.

Sure.. maybe I will book if there is a nice cancellation policy. And if it is a bit higher.. it is company expense not from my own pocket.
I am waiting until Canada's border service remove the obligation of a Covid PCR test 3 days before the return to Canada. I am eager to come back to US soon (for more than 3 days).
