DEF CON 30 and BSidesLV 2022 are a GO!

For those of us who are into such things, DEF CON 30 and BSidesLV 2022 are both happening in August 2022 in Las Vegas. I booked a hotel room nearly six months ago in hopes that all medical privacy violating requirements for admission would be dropped--and they have been. You will still find that masks are still required by a dress code here and there, but so are shirts and shoes, so no biggie.

Who else is crazy like me to tackle Las Vegas in August?

I might go for Defcon. Still debating it, not based on COVID, just finances and timing right now.

Last year, DEF CON 29 was only at about half attendance (15K people) and BSidesLV didn't happen. Not sure if 30K will be there this year, but attendance should be closer to normal.

I am very tempted to go to Def Con this year, but I have other obligation in that period.

Come on by the Ham Radio Village at DEF CON 30 to get your amateur radio license and/or upgrade!

Ack! Thats right, it's usually the first or second week of August. It's been a couple years for me hahaha.
