Policy Compliance and Guidelines within the UK Public Transportation Sector

Attempting to conduct research into the UK Public Transportation Sector. This would be in regards to future proofing data privacy guidelines as new technology is introduce and implement. Current research shows that there are attempts at introducing technology such as 5G hotspots and further automate services to allow for more ease of access, this requiring/collecting passenger data.

Are there any recommendations for potential guideline templates, or advice on compliance that would need to be maintained?
