Stub areas are shielded from external routes but receive information about networks that belong to other areas of the same OSPF domain.
In English it means it normally a routing area with one way in and out and so doesnt need routes from other areas pumped in.Looking for CCIE lab study partnerts, in the UK or Online. -

Yankee Member Posts: 157EIGRP has had a stub option for a few years now too. If you use EIGRP on a large network, you will want to learn about this option.
