I've been writing for the Web since 2007. My interests include computers, mobile devices and cyber security standards. I enjoy writing on a variety of topics ranging from cloud computing to application development, web development and e-commerce. I have several years of experience as an Information Technician in the military and as an education counselor. I hold a graduate Certificate in Information Assurance and a Master of Science in Information Technology. I was a member of the Upsilon Pi Epsilon, International Honor Society for the Computing and Information Disciplines.

Nice read about the CySA+ Daniel...however, IMO, that cert didn't seem to help me land a job in the 3yrs that I had it...so I let it expire. I mean, it was a great, tough exam, but I do not think HR is even looking for it when it comes to job postings.CompTIA A+, Network+, i-Net+, MCP 70-210, CNA v5, Server+, Security+, Cloud+, CySA+, ISC² CC, ISC² SSCP -

I have yet to run across a hiring manager that cares if a certification is current or expired. Just having acquired the cert seems good enuf.
