A datagram transiting the router is accepted into the router if the frame header (of the frame in which the datagram resides) contains the Layer 2 address of one of the router’s interfaces.
guys I just want to confirm that datagram will be accepted only if it contains the layer 2 address of the router interface on which it is recieving it or it can be the layer 2 address of any interface of the router.
thanx

In the context of the original question, that is correct. The interface will accept other Layer 2 addresses. For example, a layer 2 broadcast/multicast address, a Layer 2 HSRP address, etc. If the port is set up to bridge, it will accept any Layer 2 address that it doesn't recognize.
