Hey everybody,
I hope I'm not going against the NDA rules on this one, but I was wondering does anyone know which version SWITCH is used on the CCNA exam?
Thanks in advance

2950 for sure! I wouldn't even bother with a 1900 switch, I use mine as a beer stand

Confirmed, 2950
The 1900 series are pretty much obsolete. Though I guess they can still be useful for a home lab

a 2900xl-en will work fine as well
the only thing you may lack is the range command when configuring multiple interfaces this is common issue on the xl models .. otherwise for ccna you will need the basic port configuration commands. the more advanced will be covered on the NP

The problem with the 1900, at least from what I found in some simulators, is that it doesn't have all the features or the same command set as the 2950, especially when it comes to VLANs and the commands to configure them.
The course curriculum does cover VLANs, and the 2950 commands to configure them.
