Im studying for the CCNA , i have no experience in all this, im trying to do a password recovery on a router. does copy run start save the configuration? what does this command do?

spiderjericho Registered Users, Member Posts: 896 ■■■■■□□□□□It saves the configuration to NVRAM. Out of the box, every configuration is running on the device in RAM. Copy run start is to commit it to the NVRAM storage. If you’re doing a password recovery, you would follow the Cisco instructions and then do copy start run to copy the configuration stored in NVRAM to RAM. And then change the username/password.
