What is DR Other on OSPF?
Any idea about DROther, I am searching on Cisco Website but I can't find any information. It is mentioned on 5th edition Sybex book I cannot understand why there is a DROther. I watch my CBT and it is not mentioned.

Humper Member Posts: 647DROTHER means it is not part of the OSPF DR/BDR election. I believe when you set the OSPF priority to 0 it removes itself from the election and that's why you see it as DROTHER.Now working full time!
