Hey everyone,
I just started preparing for the AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate (Amazon-DEA-C01) exam, and I was wondering if anyone else here is planning to take it this month too. It would be awesome to connect with others who are on the same journey so we can share progress, study tips, and motivation along the way.
Right now, I’m focusing on the data ingestion and transformation domains. Especially using AWS Glue, Kinesis, and Redshift. Some of the concepts are straightforward, but others take a bit of time to really understand in a hands-on context.
Here are a few things I’d love to hear from others:
- How are you structuring your study plan for the Amazon-DEA-C01 exam?
- Which AWS services or topics are giving you the most trouble?
- Are you using any free or official resources that have been especially helpful?
- How are you balancing hands-on practice with theory?
I’ve been setting aside about 1–2 hours a day for focused study and labs, but I’m curious how others are pacing themselves. Also, if anyone wants to form a small peer study group or accountability check-in, that could be motivating for all of us.
Let’s use this thread to support each other, share our learning experiences, and discuss the tough topics we come across during preparation. Even small insights can help a lot when it comes to understanding AWS data workflows.
