Most of the discussion here is on IT and technical certs. If you're not interested in IT or cybersecurity in particular, the PMI-PMP (Program Management Professional) can be a good certification to aim for that's not focused on those fields, but still very popular in the technical community as it helps build and validate project management skills. They also have a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) you can take first.
I'm in marketing and I actually just got my AWS Certified AI Practitioner. There's a lot of AI certs out there, but this one is helpful IMO to understand how AI works in the AWS system. It's more understanding AI than using it, but I feel it's good for everyone to be close to this technology and understand how it can affect them. I know it's helped set me apart in my career as someone who "understands AI" (as much as a marketer can). HR and marketing are pretty broad though. For marketing, there's demand gen, brand, content, PR, go-to-market, analytics and other areas, each with different skills to learn and potential certs, so it may be helpful to hone in on topic or two you like before spending a lot of time and potential money on a specific cert.
