Starting 70-270

Hello, I have decided to start 70-270, as I have mentioned in my previous post.

What would you recommend as the best study guide for this exam? I do not want to make the same mistake as I did with Security+, as I ended up buying several books when I could have simply bought the Syngress book.

I suppose Microsoft Press would be the logical answer...any suggestions?

Thanks!

The only book I personally used for this one was Sybex. But it is never a bad idea to have two or more sources for an exam. In most cases you will find more detail in one book on a particular topic vs. the another book.

Sybex...I believe this is the one..

Copyright date is 2003....hope that's the only edition, wonder if they've updated it (the book).

Per Sybex, the 3rd edition is the latest for their 70-270 study guide.

The link you provided is the 2nd Edition.

Here it is the 3rd Edition at Amazon

I used the Sybex 270 2nd edition book with Transcenders and it was good enough for me. I will say however, that I thought the rest of the Sybex books for the MCSA core were inadequate for exam preparation. But, just like anything else there are some people who really liked them and some who hated them ... Good luck!
