hi all,
Can packets be trapped and traced to where it is coming from via an snmp trap. Also should it be placed before the router in the local subnet ?
Also can it be used to stop ip spoofing?
signing out-- ritam shome.

No. An SNMP trap is a signal from a device to an SNMP management station. The name "trap" fools some people. -
