I have an interview with a large hospital today

They told that the interivews today will be tough as the people over there are notoriously known for being hard on interviewees. I am going but I am not confident at all because they want Advanced knowledge of SQl server which I barely know. But I have all the other skills they want. I am going out of curiosity. icon_sad.gif

Hey, you never know how these things will go. When I interviewed for my job, I called my wife on the way home and told her it was horrible. I felt like I didn't answer their questions correctly and mumbled through things, but they called me the next morning and offered me the job. They actually told me that the decision was made right after I left the interview, and there was still 1 guy waiting to go in for his!!! :P

So, keep positive, even if it is just a little bit of positive...you never know what will happen! Good Luck! :D

The one thing to remember is that doing as many interviews as possible is important! The more you do the better and more comfterable you become with them. Its a great idea to apply to as many jobs as you can even if you do not meet all the qualifications.

When I got my first job- I did not meet all the requirements, come to find out that they put a lot of stuff on their that was not as much needed. A lot of companies will do that.

Go to the interview- even if you do not get the job- practicing interviews is very important.

    Good luck!

Just got back from the interview. Answered some questions and mumbled through others. I had the head IT admin and the IT manager sitting right in front of me taking turn at questioning me. As expected, I didn't do too well and the interview only lasted 15 minutes. They told me they would let my recruiter know about their decision. Screw those guys... :D
I am now part-time at my current crappy job so I have time to interview.

    I have another interview tomorrow.

I already had 3 interivews with the recruiter. But still 15 minutes long sends out a message. I am 22 yrs old and these folks don't seem to like young folks. :D

Well the 3 interviews part is good- 15 minutes for any interview does not seem right to me lol. Good luck though- hope you get the job!

I wouldn't have enjoyed the job anyway. It's a project with the possibilty of going perm(never trust these). The location is remote and the pay is low, Sys admin $21/hr.
