Hello, can anyone help me, I have four routes all 2501 and one switch.
We know that 2501 has only one aui port I( I am using transciever).

I would like to connect the 4 routers on a 2900 series switch to perform broadcast multi-access , is this possbile.

2nd. I have boson netsim, and configure some multi-area configuration
here's my configuration.

network 192.168.10.0 = area 0
network 192.168.20.0 = area 1

x
x (ABR)
x
I am assigning 192.168.10.0 on area 0, then assign 192.168.20.0 to area 1 but when I used the sh ip ospf int command still the 192.168.20.0 in area 0.

How are you doing this? Show your commands.

it sounds like a mask issue to me

    it should be something like

    network 192.168.10.0 0.0.0.255 area 0
    network 192.168.20.0 0.0.0.255.area 1

That's what I was thinking. I would still like to see his commands.

It's even easier with the newer IOS versions. On the interface: ip ospf area X.

    I don't think so,

IN BOSON not my real routers.

    ok here's my configuration:

    router ospf 1
    network 192.168.10.0 0.0.0.255 area 0
    network 192.168.20.0 0.0.0.255 area 1

And did also the network 192.168.20.1 0.0.0.0 area 1, but still the same it 's putting in the area 0

did you try this in Boson?

I would suggest that you contact Boson for technical support if their product is not working correctly.
