where to start?

just need tips on where to start really if anyone can help?

i can get my hands on a cisco 2600 router and was wondering where i start to go about setting it up and configuring it basically. i want to pursue this area out of interest and was wondering if anyone had any gd websites on how to do this or a list of the commands used when configuring routers etc?

any help will be great!
