    And "Ethical Hacking and CounterMeasures" is the title commonly used for classes and degrees on penetration testing. I prefer this title to being designated as a "hacker."

    Congrats!! I have gotten the ok for self study, and I am trying to muster up enough courage to go and take my test now.. Everytime I think I have studied enough to pass, I find more to learn about.

    First of all, Congrats !! I am also planning to appear for it, and want to know how you all did it ? I plan to take the 'direct exam' route as I have 2 years InfoSec experience to show. Anybody who went through this route ?

    Passed CEH with 88% last week.

    Tough exam.

    Used the official CEH Material. Also used the ExamCram by Michael Gregg. That was the best tool to use for stuying for this exam.

    Must do all the labs and have all of the Hacker Tools. You get these with the official curriculum.

    Scheduled to take the CHFI exam next week. Also using the official curriculum.
