Juniper JNCIA-FWV
Has anyone on this forum done a juniper certification before? If so, could you advise me?
I have been wanting to do a juniper certification for a while, I have been offered a great deal on a Netscreen 5GT Firewall but im really green when it comes to juniper products. So would this firewall be alright as a study tool for that exam. When im finished CCNP I would like to expand my networking skills to other vendors. We should get a juniper forum here too
Thanx

there are 2 kind of juniper exam : the CIA is for the beginner working with juniper appliances, and the CIS is for more advanced pro dealing with juniper systems.
the differences is that appliances are not modular, and with limited advanced features like HA, ports, virtual systems etc. on the other hand, the systems is a modular and, limited only by your budget : )
and, remember :
FWV is firewall/vpn exam, eventhough you have networking knowledge there, you should be familiar with firewalling/vpn concept.
look around juniper site, they have a nice product documentation to read.
good luckthe More I know, that is more and More I dont know.
