Ok simple question that iam a bit confused over... in a few different sources i have read that for two cisco switches to talk they need to be connected with a crossover cable.
In my work place we have all dell switches. None of them are connected with a cross over cable...
so do u need to have a xover with cisco stuff or what?

So what i'm saying is without any fancy vendor custimization you need a cross cable, after that it depends on what extra features the vendor adds to the box.Networking, sometimes i love it, mostly i hate it.Its all about the $$$$
