What is the difference between accessing a router via the auxulary port vs. telnet? Is the auxulary port a physical or a logical port? Please explain. thanks.

Logging in via the aux port would require a DB-9 to RJ-45 cable and you would use a terminal program, for windows Hyperterminal would be the program that you would want.If you are living in the Columbus, OH area and studying for the CCNA click the following link.
