in CCNA & CCENT
Hi,
If I come across a simulated lab environment in the CCNA exam (this time round the CCNA ICND) and need to do some sort of configuration (e.g "Configure RIP on RouterA so that it can ping RouterB"). Assuming I correctly configured RIP, would I...
lose marks if I didn't type "copy run start"
gain marks if I did type "copy run start"
gain nothing if I did type "copy run start"
get the question wrong if I didn't type "copy run start"
i.e When does saving the configuration actually matter?
Does anyone know? Or is it considered best practice to save everything you do anyway?
I don't want to put in a correct config only to get the question wrong because I did/didn't save config.

However, I still think it is important to correctly answer questions you know are right, but I will leave it there.
