Has anyone taken this test and the CCNA? It seems that a large amount of topics spill over. People call it the beast.. but is it just network the microsoft way?

I don't recall much spillover of CCNA knowledge other then IP addressing. 70-291 pertains to MS network specifics and is tough. Plus in MS fashion some questions will have two correct answers, you just have to pick the one Mr. Gates' crew prefers.

Damn I was hoping I could slide by it a little easier. :P

    Thanks for the response.

Anyone with a CCNA will have no problems with certain portions of the exam, including subnetting and a lot of the network diagram based questions, or questions relating to router hops or things like that. Its probably only 15% of the exam or so (most of it is DHCP/DNS) but that knowledge is fundamental when it comes to building and designing networks anyways.
