how long is it untill i recieve my certificate?

how long is it until i recieve my certificate?

i passed the a+ about 3 weeks ago now. i think they usually say upto 6 weeks, is this true?

i have also heard you have to go onto comptia's site and request the certificate?

could anyone clear this up for me?

The length is vary. I got mine in about 1 month and a half. My friend just got his in less than a month.

As far as I know, you don't need to request the certificate. They'll send it to you automatically. Just go to comptia, register if it's your first time or log on, and view your status. They will tell you the date you certify, date they create the kit, date they mail out the kit, etc.
