In short confusing. There is too much military jargon, and too much unnecessary information. It does not really tell me what job you want. A Resume should target a specific job. It reads like a military performance report. Its hard but you will need to write like a civilian. Way too much information. If you are going to use quotes, quote someone with high level authority. “CW3 M, OIC USA” huh? Who is this. Too many of them. I got bored reading after the first several lines. Uncommon acronyms you should write out, common ones like HTML are not necessary. If you do a search you will find some of my past comments on how to write a bullet statement. I would recommend going over to the family support building at any of the military bases and have them work with your resume. There are professionals there to help Vets get jobs, work on interview and resume skills. I have used them, and recomend it. At least, you get someone who sees these daily and knows what to look for.
btw, I know you said earlyer that more is better, that is only true if you are applying for a Gov job.

Now thats good feedback. I know alot of what you said is true Badger and I took out some info for the web. This is not the complete resume. I should have mentioned that my focus is .Gov. My fault on that. Also I made it almost "overbearing" for that reason. Now I might add that I have been getting alot of calls, so maybe there is something to it. I dont know , but thanks for the input and I am considering making the 50th version soon.

read the sticky on resumes dos and don't .. badger is correct you have provided TMI scale it back something more concise for a headhunter the less work they have to do reading your resume the more work they can do locating you a position

Thats good moagm316 I've been thinking of ul/li and tables, but I dont know if I want a web based resume. This one was really just an html keyword test. But you're right if I go with a web res I probably will change it. I've got 4 jobs on the table now so I my not need anything for a while. Thanks for the feedback.

condense, condense, condense. employers give your resume about 2 minutes assuming they don't feed it through some database. condense it.

badger95 wrote,"It reads like a military performance report." I was trying to show potential value to a company. I know this resume breaks all the rules and I must say that was my intention. Several headhunters have contacted me, yet no-one has said anything about it. Mabye they just think I'm stupid. However, whatever it is, it seems to be getting a lot of attention from employers. Its just my opinion but I think alot more people are using databases these days to pull up keywords, and then they look into the ones that come up. One recruiter actually told me yesterday that, "based on my resume" she thinks I'm perfect for the job. Point noted it is a gov position. The feedback is good so far. Everyone says reduce and condense, but I decided to cross way over the line and walk a different path on this one.
