I am studying for it. I have no previous field experience with Security and I am learning as I read. I know a few people in the Security field. Please let us know how you prepared.Remington Forbes

jojofresh Member Posts: 7 ■□□□□□□□□□I have been studying for CISSP for about six months. I used a lot of my previous knowledge and read some of the technotes from this site. The test was fairly easy for me, but for someone with no experience in system or network security, I suggest studying hard.
I seen a couple of questions on:
PKI (private vs public) (symmetric vs asymmetric)
Network Attacks (know the difference)
Computer Forensics (chain of custody) (evidence preservation)
I seen quite few questions on:
Ports (on systems and firewalls)
Password Attacks (Dictionary and Brute Force)
Sorry!! I don't remember much more.BS in MGT Information Systems

remyforbes777 Member Posts: 499Hey thats cool. Congrats also. I think i will do well. I always study from a couple of text book sources. I do a lot of flash cards, and for this one, im taking notes and putting them in outline form which i think will help. I am going to start doing some lab things also. I just received my second book from Amazon so I am getting in gear.Remington Forbes
