Well i jsut booked mine today.

I got 80.6% on the voucher exam in CCNA 4, so i was able to get a 50% discount on my 640-801.

Ill be sitting it on Friday 11th of August (Next Friday).

I feel very confident with everything, besides subnetting very fast. It will take me about 1 minute or sometimes more to get the answer, but i still get it. From now til then ill just be working hard with different subnetting questions. While still reviewing everything else to keep it fresh.

Since last week i finally got it all down how to do ACLs, and there really isnt anything to them.. i dunno what i struggled about?!!!

Hopefully my confidence helps me next week. Til then, i study hard and wait.
Studying: 70-290, CCNP 1, CCSP 1

    Hey, good luck to you.
I need to stop being a pussy and book mine too. I'm just not having the time I wish I had to study and be prepared for the test.
I do too got a voucher for my exam after taking the voucher's test on CCNA semester 4.

Yeah, ACLs I think it's easy, and subnetting I learned a very neat trick from my teacher. Now my problem is with protocols, specially WAN protocols.

Well, good luck to you and if I get some courage, I will try mine in 2 weeks.

And good choice on the date -- its far enough out that you can still study and party this weekend..... and then you have the weekend after the exam to party in celebration.

i booked my ccna exam a few weeks ago and i sit to take it on august 19th (2 saturdays from now) i've been out of cisco 4 for a few months and figured that i better go ahead and schedule it and quit putting it off because i have already forgotten alot of the small details. what scared me most about taking the exam was that my instructor was recertified last summer and he stated that he failed it the first time and passed it on his second attempt. he stated that the test is much harder than what it was three years ago and they put alot of information in the questions that you have to read through that is not needed to answer the question. i have found though by taking practice exams that is where i get into trouble by not reading the questions carefully enough and selecting the wrong answer. i guess i will have to read carefully but fast! anyway good luck with your exam and let us know how you did and i will do the same.

Mike..Lets not kid ourselves.....Party? You mean with the computer and ourself?

On a side note, the CCNA is easy.......Well I thought so after I took it ;) I strugged alot with spanning tree, a bit of ACL's ...Subnetting will click one day, and you will be able to subnet in your head.....
    Now working full time!

My instructor told us of a former student who was too cocky, as he was judging by what the test used to be like. He was there to recertify. Despite the instructor's warnings, he goofed off thinking it would be an easy pass.
He failed of course, and was in shock.
