all i want to say that the exam is not difficult.
it doesnt want to be a well qualified network expert.
**** questions with **** marking system.

however i had a problem with an e-lab (i couldn't type anything at all...i was typing in the user mode router>enable and it was logged;no valid command bla bla bla) and i was forced to go forward without having the possibility to look the item further.

cheers

My best suggestion for you is to get the INTRO and ICND books by Wendel Odom or Todd Lammle's CCNA study guide coupled with a few routers or simulation and you will be on your way to success. Just as an after thought, nowadays they no longer employ you for mererly having a CCNA. Guess why?

If you couldn't get the sim to work properly, I would complain. Sims are counted heavily. If you had to skip the sim completely, you did very well.

When I took the exam, I got flustered on the sim and the testlet, and still got an 800, which was considered quite good considering I had just finished a 4 day, 9 hour a day bootcamp class. The 5th day (Friday) was unstructured review and test day.

Perhaps you were in the wrong mode for Enable to be valid? Did you try SHOW to see what commands were available?

i was entering after a telnet a router and it was sth like this:

    password:bla bla (typing cisco)
    remote> OK STOH HERE!

i was typing enable and it was printed:
    remote>ciscoenable

i deleted it and i typed:
    remote>?
    remote>
    enable exit
    remote>enable
no command bla bla bla bla bla...

i was just to commit a suicide!

With the sims and the testlet, I have to disagree with you.

When I took the exam, I only got one sim and one testlet, but others here recently reported 3 sims.

And what I have heard about the sims, if you type too fast, faster than the sim can respond, cached keystrokes may be misinterpreted.

t doesnt want to be a well qualified network expert.

It's only CCNA man , network asociate , not CCIE , { internet work expert } , so passing CCNA doesen't mean you an expert , not even profesional , CCNP is profesional , I think CCNA are just networking & computer's basic's from CISCO.

    Just try again man , CCNA 640-801 , not thoe 2 exam's ;)
