first part of exam
if you do ok with the printer questions but not so good with the network questions for example. will they fail you.
tested myself on the first part of the exam and my average is between 88 and 94 per cent, is that good enough to pass.

cheeblie Member Posts: 288It all depends on the questions that you get. If you get a bunch of network questions than it's not very likely that you would pass since the test is adaptive. Although, the likelihood of getting a plethora of network related questions is very low. If you are planning on taking the test after the switch to the linear exam you shouldn't have a problem. However, since you are getting around 90% you probably shouldn't worry about it either way. You shouldn't have any trouble passing adaptive or not.

bellboy Member Posts: 1,017networking questions in the core exam are primarily to do with lengths of various cabling, connectors, etc. there could be questions to do with differences between bridges, repeaters, hubs, switches, routers, etc, but not as in-depth as in network+ exam.
if you read over the networking sections of your book(s), you should be fine.
post queries relating to networking here and we will try to help you.A+ Moderator
