How many steps are in the following processes?
SSL:
Kerberos:
CHAP:
I think CHAP has 3 steps but I am unsure about it and the rest. Any help? TIA.

DragonNOA1 Member Posts: 149 ■■■□□□□□□□I know Google is my friend, so thanks.
SSL: 3, 6, or 9
Kerberos: 5
CHAP: 3
Does that look right? Can anyone else confirm? I can't get a straight answer on SSL.The command line, an elegant weapon for a more civilized age -
seuss_ssues Member Posts: 629Knowing how many steps are in each is irrelevant for the exam.
Knowing what each is used for will be tested on.
Additionally understanding the process of each is beneficial.
But there will be no "how many steps are in _____" -

Webmaster Admin Posts: 10,292 AdminYes, it's more important to understand which steps there are instead of how many. Especially for SSL 'it depends' how far you want to break up the operation in steps/sub-steps, and whether mutual authentication is enabled. I described the 9-step version here:
