icon_cry.gif It looks like I will have to take 4 tests to upgrade from MCSE:Security 2000 to MCSE:Security 2003. I was hoping I would only need to pass 70-292 and 70-296. I'll also need 70-298 and 70-299, which are the equivalent of 70-220 and 70-214 respectively. At least my Security+ will transfer over....... icon_cry.gif Since I was planning on taking 70-224 and 70-225 anyway, to get some Exchange knowledge, I guess I'll pick up another Microsoft certification. However, maybe now I'll wait for a while until I make the 2003 switch. That way I can take 70-284 and 70-285 and get MCSE:Messaging 2003. AHHHH! Too many tests! My head hurts.

Ahhh, it is all bullshit anyways. MS is just looking for a wider income stream.

I disagree. I think it can be useful for both employers and us. For example, the messaging specialisation shows that the candidate took both the admin and the design exam. For an employer that is an important difference that is now recognizable, which in turn can be a benifit for those who passed it. Like SQL server, Exchange server is much more than just an add-on to a Windows 2000 server, it's only fair that it has its own cert.

"an MS Exchange Server fan" ;)
