Passed 70-291 today with a 957. After an hour delay in getting my test to work, I was even more nervous to get started.

For the most part, my exam was straightforward. Most questions were simple multiple choice for me, definitely less complicated than I imagined. I think I got lucky with my draw of questions. The sims were also straightforward and I was 100% confident on those. This means I am now an official MCSA! It's time to celebrate and think about what i want to do next: take a break, continue towards MCSE, etc.

For this test I used:

MS Self Paced Study Kit 70-291 (Recommended book)
Syngress book 70-291 (Recommended book)
Measureup practice exams
Syngress practice exams
This site and mcmcse site's forums
MS TechNet
Practice lab setup with two 2003 servers and a 2000 client.

    Thanks for the congrats everyone. I brought a Michael Crighton book to work to read FOR FUN until I decide to move onto my MCSE. Does everyone recommend taking care of the 70-293 next? It seems to follow right along with the 70-291.

    Overlap but emphasis and focus is different. If you are asking if you can use training guide of 290 to pass 291, not a good idea.
