Hi guys, I'm new to the forums and new to the IT job world.
I've been building computer and simple home and buisness network's since the early 90's but this is my first job I have held in the IT field.
My question is this and I'm sure it has been asked over and over. So if you have a thread that's along the same subject that would be just as helpfull.
What is a good resource to prepare myself for taking each certification?
I would like to pass both within 6 months.
Thanks in advance for the help, knowledge and experience.

I suggest that you should work on A+ first. Then study for your Network+.
For A+, there's the core exam 210-301, and OS exam 210-302.
I would get the core exam first, and then the OS exam.
For both the A+ exams, Mike Meyers' All-In-One guide is really good.
For Network+, you can get the Meyers' All-In-One guide again, but I thought that it was too thick, and too expensive SO....I got the Passport Certification instead.
Hope this helps.Jack of all trades, master of none -
rivalshad Member Posts: 3 ■□□□□□□□□□Thanks for the reply and info. I'm sure that will get me heading in the right direction.
Any recommendations on where to purchase those All-In-One guides?
Also the Passport Certification you mentioned, do you have any further info on going that route?
Thanks.
